Which Linktree alternatives can sell digital products?
They split into two groups. If you want a different page with a store on it, look at Beacons, Stan Store or Ko-fi. If you want to keep a link page and put a better checkout behind it, look at Payhip, Gumroad, Systeme.io, Whop or Stakk. For comparison, Linktree takes 12% of a sale on its free plan, 9% on Starter at $8 a month and Pro at $15, and 0% only on Premium at $35, with Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 on top of all four. Checked 30 September 2026.
Which group you belong in depends on what is actually wrong. If you are tired of the page, change the page. If the page is fine and selling through it is the problem, you can change the checkout and leave the page alone.
Why look for a Linktree alternative to sell digital products?
Usually for one of three reasons: the cut, the checkout or the account.
The cut is the first thing people notice. Linktree's pricing page sets the seller fee on digital products and courses at 12% on Free and 9% on Starter and Pro. The 0% rate exists only on Premium, at $35 a month for a US visitor, and it comes bundled with the social scheduler and routing tools whether you want them or not.
The checkout is the second. Linktree's pricing page lists no order bump and no upsell on any plan. The third is the account: when you connect Stripe, Linktree creates a new Stripe account for your store rather than using one you already have.
None of that makes Linktree a bad tool. The full plan-by-plan breakdown of what Linktree costs shows where each plan is the cheap one.
Which link-in-bio pages take less from a sale than Linktree?
Beacons, Ko-fi and Stan Store, each in a different way.
Beacons is the closest like-for-like. Its free plan takes 9% a sale where Linktree's takes 12%, its $10 Creator plan also takes 9%, and its 0% plan, Creator Plus, costs $30 a month where Linktree's costs $35. Beacons takes PayPal as well as cards. Our Linktree and Beacons comparison goes through both line by line.
Ko-fi has no monthly fee and takes 5% on shop sales, or 0% on Gold at $12 a month. It is built around tips and memberships, with a shop tab alongside them.
Stan Store takes 0% of each sale but has no free plan. Its plan comparison puts Creator at $29 a month and Creator Pro at $99.
Our own arithmetic on each platform's published US rates and Stripe's standard US card rate.
Which Linktree alternatives have an order bump or upsell?
Several, but most put them behind a monthly plan. This is the part of the checkout that raises the value of an order you have already won, and Linktree has none of it.
Beacons has an order bump on Creator Plus at $30 a month. Stan Store puts order bumps, upsells and funnels on Creator Pro at $99 a month, not on the $29 plan. Ko-fi has neither on any setup.
Among the checkouts you can put behind a link, Systeme.io's free plan includes one order bump and one one-click upsell, and its $17 Startup plan raises that to ten of each. Gumroad shows an add-on after the buyer presses Pay, with no post-purchase upsell documented. Payhip shows a cross-sell in the cart on every plan. Stakk has an order bump and a one-tap post-purchase upsell on every account, with nothing behind a tier.
Can you keep your Linktree and sell through another checkout?
Yes, and if you like the page it is the simplest move. Leave your links where they are and point the product button at a store built for selling. Your followers see the same page, and only the checkout changes.
Five checkouts fit behind a link with no monthly fee to start. Payhip's free plan takes 5% a sale plus Stripe or PayPal processing. Gumroad takes 10% + $0.50 with card processing on top, and in return it is the merchant of record and handles sales tax. Whop charges 2.7% + $0.30 a domestic card sale with no monthly costs. Systeme.io charges no transaction fee on its free plan, up to 2,000 contacts. Stakk takes from 10% + $0.50, card processing included.
If you would rather compare the page tools that also have a checkout, which link in bio tools have a real checkout covers that group in full.
Which alternatives pay into an account you already have?
Ko-fi, Payhip, Systeme.io and Stakk pay into a Stripe or PayPal account you connect yourself. Linktree and Stan Store each set up a new Stripe account for your store, and Gumroad holds the money first.
Ko-fi says you get paid directly into your own PayPal or Stripe and that it never holds your money. Payhip deposits each sale into the Stripe or PayPal account you connect, straight after the transaction. Systeme.io runs payments through your own Stripe or PayPal too, and on Stakk the buyer pays into your own Stripe account. Gumroad is the seller, so sales land in your Gumroad balance first, with a $100 minimum before a scheduled payout.
Stan's setup is the one to understand before you move. Its Stripe article says you create a new Custom Stripe account managed by Stan, and you cannot connect an existing one. Sales settle inside Stripe in 2 to 7 business days, and each cash out costs 0.25% + $0.25, with a $1 minimum. Which platforms let you use your own Stripe account explains why that difference matters later.
When is Linktree still the right choice?
When the page is the main job and a product is an occasional extra. Linktree is the simpler page, its Premium plan bundles a social scheduler, its courses are powered by Kajabi, and it lets you price a product anywhere from $1 to $10,000.
And if you sell twice a month, the cut barely matters. Twelve percent of a small number is a small number, and moving to save a dollar a sale is probably not worth the afternoon.
When would I send you somewhere else?
If you want a new page, Stakk is the wrong choice. Stakk has no link-in-bio page builder, no link list and no themes. It has no tips, no memberships, no subscriptions and no course hosting. Prices are US dollars only, with nothing above $999. For a page, pick Beacons, Stan Store or Ko-fi from the first group.
If the lowest cost per sale is the whole decision, Whop and Systeme.io beat Stakk on every sale, and Ko-fi and Payhip's free plan beat it on a $20 product too.
Want a checkout behind your link page?
Keep the Linktree page you have and send the buy button to a Stakk product. It costs nothing a month and takes from 10% + $0.50 a sale with card processing included, which is less than Linktree Free, Starter or Pro take on a $20 sale. The money lands in your own Stripe account.
I have named cheaper options, so price is not the reason to pick us. The checkout is. The order bump rides the same charge as the product, so it carries one fee rather than two, and the upsell after payment is one tap against the card already on file. Both ship on every account, and the layout came out of funnels that ran for agency clients before Stakk existed.
