What does each one take from a $27 sale?

On your own link the two land close. On marketplace sales, Topmate costs less.

Sale The fee On a $27 sale
Stakk, your own linkFrom 10% + $0.50, card processing included$3.20
Stakk, a Discover sale30% + $0.50, card processing included$8.60
Topmate, your own link10%, plus a gateway fee and GST on Topmate's fee$2.70, plus the gateway fee and GST
Topmate, its marketplace20%, plus a gateway fee and GST on Topmate's fee$5.40, plus the gateway fee and GST

For a US card, $3.20 is Stakk's whole fee on a $27 sale, and you keep $23.80. Topmate's 10% is $2.70, before its gateway fee and GST on its fee, which its homepage FAQ lists. Its pricing page does not label the gateway rate, so I can't give Topmate's exact total. The FAQ also lists a fee for turning another currency into rupees at withdrawal.

On marketplace sales Topmate wins. Its 20% is $5.40 plus the gateway fee. A sale from Stakk's Discover page is 30% + $0.50 all in, which is $8.60. Stakk's pricing page shows what our rate includes.

Who holds the money, and when do you get paid?

On Stakk the money is yours from the start. On Topmate it waits in a balance until you withdraw.

Stakk uses Stripe Connect Standard. The buyer pays into your own Stripe account, and you are the seller. Stakk takes its fee from that charge and never holds the rest, so it cannot delay a payout. Stripe pays your bank on the schedule in your Stripe account. Our guide to which platforms hold your money explains why that matters.

Topmate collects the payment and keeps your earnings in a balance. Its FAQ says your first withdrawal opens 7 days after your first paid sale, and it may ask for ID first. India payouts are reviewed by its team and reach your bank within 7 days of your request. Outside India you withdraw by PayPal or to a US bank account, and the review can take up to a week.

What can you sell on each one?

Topmate sells your time. Stakk sells your files.

Topmate's homepage lists 1:1 calls, webinars, cohorts, courses, digital products, packages, Priority DMs and memberships. Bookings land on your Google Calendar, and paid ones get WhatsApp reminders. A Priority DM is a paid written answer with a set reply time, refunded in full if you miss it. Topmate says it has paid ₹100+ crore to creators and counts 4.8 million+ bookings.

Stakk sells digital products, like templates, guides, presets and PDFs. Each one has a one-off price from $1 to $999 in US dollars, and the buyer gets the file right after paying. Stakk has no call booking, no paid DMs, no webinars, no course hosting and no subscriptions.

Which one has order bumps and upsells?

Stakk has both on every account. Topmate lists neither on its homepage or pricing page.

An order bump is a small extra the buyer ticks at checkout, like a bonus pack next to a template. On Stakk it rides the same charge as the product, so it carries one fee, not two. An upsell is an offer shown after payment, taken with one tap on the card just used. It is a second charge, so it takes Stakk's fee again. Our guides to order bumps and upsells show how both work. And the buyer needs no account to buy.

Topmate sells more to each buyer in other ways. Its homepage lists packages that bundle calls, DMs, webinars and products for one price, plus discount codes, offer pop-ups and a follow up when a buyer leaves at checkout. Those are useful tools, but none is an add-on at checkout or a one-tap offer after payment.

When would I send you to Topmate?

If you mostly sell calls or paid DMs, Topmate is the right tool and Stakk is the wrong choice, because Stakk cannot book a call or run a Priority DM. If your buyers are in India and want to pay by UPI, Topmate takes it and Stakk's checkout does not. And if you want a marketplace to send you buyers, Topmate lists your page in its search, at 20% against Stakk's 30% + $0.50 on a Discover sale. Topmate itself says most first bookings still come from your own people, so treat its search as extra.

If the lowest fee on a file is all you care about, Whop and Systeme.io both cost less per sale than Stakk. Our breakdown of Whop's fees has the numbers.

Can you use Topmate and Stakk at the same time?

Yes. Keep Topmate for calls and DMs, and add a Stakk link for your files. Both are free to start, so running both costs nothing until you sell. There is no tool to move products across, so you add each file by hand.

What else do people ask about Stakk and Topmate?

Is Topmate cheaper than Stakk?

It depends where the sale comes from. On your own link the two land close: Topmate takes 10% plus a gateway fee and GST on its fee, and Stakk takes from 10% + $0.50 all in. On marketplace sales Topmate is cheaper, at 20% against 30% + $0.50.

Does Topmate hold my money?

Yes, until you withdraw. Your first withdrawal opens 7 days after your first paid sale. On Stakk each sale goes straight into your own Stripe account.

Can I sell 1:1 calls on Stakk?

No. Stakk has no call booking, no Priority DMs and no webinars. If calls are most of what you sell, Topmate is the better fit.

Do buyers need an account to buy on Stakk?

No. The buyer pays by card and gets the file right away, with no sign-up step first.

Is Stakk's 10% + $0.50 the same for every sale?

Not always. Stakk's own cut is 7.1% + $0.20. Stripe adds its card fee, 2.9% + $0.30 for a US card, to make 10% + $0.50. Stripe's part can be higher for other cards and countries.

Does Topmate have order bumps?

Not by name. Its homepage lists packages, discount codes and offer pop-ups, but no add-on at checkout and no one-tap offer after payment.

Selling files, and want the money in your own Stripe account?

Stakk is a store for your files. The buyer needs no account, the order bump rides the same charge, and the upsell after payment is one tap. Every sale goes into a Stripe account in your own name, and Stakk never holds it. It is free to start, with no monthly fee, from 10% + $0.50 a sale with card processing included.
