Why is there a currency conversion fee?

Every Stakk price is in US dollars, so if your Stripe account pays out in another currency, Stripe has to convert the money. Stripe charges about 2% to do that, so a typical sale lands near 12% in total.

This happens when your Stripe account settles in a currency like AUD, GBP or EUR. Prices stay in US dollars so every buyer sees the same number.

How to avoid it: Stripe lets many non-US accounts hold a US dollar balance. That removes the conversion. Check your Stripe account to see if you can add one.

Stakk's own fee: From 10% + $0.50 per sale, card processing included. See pricing.
