Can you sell stock photos without a stock site?

Yes, but it works a different way. A stock site finds buyers for you and licenses each image. On Stakk, you sell to people who already follow you: photo packs, phone wallpapers, or print files.

Each pack gets its own page at stakk.store/yourname. There are no per-image license tiers, so put your usage terms on the page.

How do buyers get their photos?

Export full-size JPEGs, add TIFFs for print, and zip them with a short note on how buyers may use the photos. Keep the zip in Google Drive or Dropbox and paste its share link. Stakk emails it the moment someone pays.

What can you add at checkout?

A small order bump fits photos well: phone wallpaper crops of the same shots. It joins the same charge, so one fee.

After they pay, an upsell can offer the print-ready set or your editing presets, as its own charge with its own fee.

How does selling photos on Stakk work?

  1. Claim your link. Pick a name. stakk.store/yourname is your store.
  2. Add your photo pack. Give it a title, a price and up to six images or videos. Paste the link to your file.
  3. Share your link. Put it in your bio. Buyers pay on your store, and the download goes straight to their email.

What does it cost to sell photos on Stakk?

From 10% + $0.50 per sale, card processing included. There is no monthly fee and no setup fee, so you pay nothing until you make a sale.

You set your own price, in whole US dollars from $1 to $999. Every sale is a one-off payment, and buyers pay into your own Stripe account.

Is Stakk right for your photos?

Stakk fits photographers who want to sell packs and prints from their own link.

It does not put your photos in a big library for stock buyers to search, or license single images. For that, a stock site is the better match.

Questions people ask

Is Stakk a stock photo site?

No. It is your own store. Buyers come from your link, posts and emails, and you can list packs on Discover too.

Can I sell prints of my photos?

You can sell print-ready files that buyers print themselves. Stakk does not print or ship anything.

How many photos should go in a pack?

Enough to feel like one set, like one place or one season.
