How do you set up beat leases on Stakk?

Make each lease its own product. Stakk has no built-in lease tiers, so the MP3 lease, WAV lease and trackout of one beat are three products, each with its own price and terms.

Each page then says exactly what the artist gets, at stakk.store/yourname.

How do buyers get their beats?

For each lease, make a folder with the files and a PDF of the terms: an MP3 for the basic lease, a WAV for the next, stems for a trackout. Paste each folder's Google Drive or Dropbox link into the matching product.

Stakk emails it to the artist the moment they pay.

What can you add at checkout?

An order bump could be the MIDI files. It rides the same charge, so one fee.

After payment, the upsell is a natural place for the trackout stems, as its own charge with its own fee.

How does selling beats on Stakk work?

  1. Claim your link. Pick a name. stakk.store/yourname is your store.
  2. Add your beat. Give it a title, a price and up to six images or videos. Paste the link to your file.
  3. Share your link. Put it in your bio. Buyers pay on your store, and the download goes straight to their email.

What does it cost to sell beats on Stakk?

From 10% + $0.50 per sale, card processing included. There is no monthly fee and no setup fee, so you pay nothing until you make a sale.

You set your own price, in whole US dollars from $1 to $999. Every sale is a one-off payment, and buyers pay into your own Stripe account.

Is Stakk right for your beats?

Stakk works for producers who sell leases and kits to artists who find them through their own content.

It does not manage lease limits, track streams, or write contracts.

Questions people ask

Can I sell an exclusive beat?

Yes. Make the exclusive its own product with clear terms. Once it sells, take that beat's leases down.

How do artists hear the beat before they buy?

Add a short video with the beat playing to the product's images and videos.

Can I sell drum kits next to my beats?

Yes. Kits and loop packs sit in the same store as their own products. See selling sample packs.
