How do you sell a PDF online?

Make the PDF, set a price, and give it a page where buyers can pay. Google Docs, Canva and Word all save PDFs.

Each PDF gets its own page at stakk.store/yourname: a workbook, a checklist, a planner or a pattern. Is it a whole book? See selling ebooks. Does it teach one task step by step? See selling guides.

How do buyers get their PDFs?

Keep the PDF in a Google Drive or Dropbox folder. Share the folder, not the file, and set it so anyone with the link can view. Paste that link into Stakk. Buyers get it by email the moment they pay.

Why a folder? If you fix a typo later, you swap the PDF inside it. The link still works, so past buyers get the new version too.

What can you add at checkout?

For the order bump, try a one-page checklist or a fill-in template. It rides the same charge, so it carries one fee.

For the upsell, offer the next PDF in the series, or a call with you sold as a product that sends your booking link. It is its own charge with its own fee.

How does selling PDFs on Stakk work?

  1. Claim your link. Pick a name. stakk.store/yourname is your store.
  2. Add your PDF. Give it a title, a price and up to six images or videos. Paste the link to your file.
  3. Share your link. Put it in your bio. Buyers pay on your store, and the download goes straight to their email.

What does it cost to sell PDFs on Stakk?

From 10% + $0.50 per sale, card processing included. There is no monthly fee and no setup fee, so you pay nothing until you make a sale.

You set your own price, in whole US dollars from $1 to $999. Every sale is a one-off payment, and buyers pay into your own Stripe account.

Is Stakk right for your PDFs?

Stakk fits PDFs sold as one-off downloads to people who follow you.

It does not host, watermark or lock the PDF. It sends a link to where your file lives, so a buyer could share it. If you need locked PDFs, Stakk is not the right tool.

Questions people ask

Do buyers need an account to buy my PDF?

No. They type a name and an email, pay by card, and get the link by email.

Can I sell PDF documents I made in Canva?

Yes. Download the design as a PDF and share it from Google Drive or Dropbox. To sell designs buyers edit in Canva, see selling Canva templates.

Can I give a PDF away for free?

Yes. Make it a lead magnet: a free PDF people get in return for their email address.
