How to sell digital products

Make it once, add it to your store, and share one link.

What is a digital product?

A digital product is anything a buyer gets as a file or a link: an ebook, a template, a preset, a sample pack, a printable or a planner. You make it once and can sell it again and again.

A link can be the product too, like a Notion template or a booking link for a coaching call. If a buyer can open it from an email, you can sell it on Stakk.

How does selling digital products on Stakk work?

You claim a link, add a product and share the link.

  1. Claim your link. stakk.store/yourname is your store. It is built for phones and fits in any bio.
  2. Add a product. Give it a title, a price in whole US dollars from $1 to $999, and up to six images or videos. Paste the link to your file.
  3. Share your link. Put it in your bio, a post or an email. Buyers pay on your store.

Buyers pay into your own Stripe account. You can add an order bump, a small extra the buyer ticks before paying, and an upsell, an offer shown after they pay.

Every sale is a one-off: Stakk has no subscriptions, memberships, course player or booking calendar.

How do buyers get the file?

By email, the moment they pay. You keep the file where you like, such as Google Drive, Dropbox or Notion, and paste its share link when you add the product. Stakk emails the buyer that link with their receipt.

Buyers don't make an account. They type a name and an email, pay by card, and the link lands in their inbox. If they lose it, they can send it again themselves at stakk.store/orders with their email and order number.

Stakk sends a link. It does not upload, host or lock your files, so set the share link so anyone with it can view.

What can you sell?

How do you pick your first digital product?

Start with a question people already ask you. If friends or followers keep asking how you edit your photos, plan your week or make your beats, the answer can be your first product.

Keep it small: one problem, one file. A small product is quick to make and quick to test. Before you spend weeks on it, read how to know if your digital product will sell. Stuck for ideas? Try the free digital product idea finder.

How do you get your first buyers without an audience?

Go where people already ask the question your product answers. That could be a group, a forum or a comment thread. Help first, then share your link when it fits.

Give something away to build a list. A lead magnet is a free download people get for their email, so you have people to tell when your product is ready. You can also list your products on Discover, where buyers browse Stakk. The sale still happens on your own store.
