What music can you sell as a download?
Any track a fan can keep: a single, an EP, a full album, or the stems behind a song.
Export WAV files for full quality and MP3 files for a smaller download. Put both in one folder so the buyer can choose.
How do buyers get their music?
They get a link by email the moment they pay. Zip the release, keep it in Google Drive or Dropbox, and paste the share link when you add it.
Start each file name with the track number, like 01 Slow Lights.wav, so the songs stay in order.
What can you add at checkout?
A small extra before they pay, and a bigger offer after. The order bump could be the instrumentals or a lyric sheet, on the same charge. The upsell could be the stems for remixers or your last album, added with one click.
How does selling music on Stakk work?
- Claim your link. Pick a name. stakk.store/yourname is your store.
- Add your release. Give it a title, a price and up to six images or videos. Paste the link to your file.
- Share your link. Put it in your bio. Buyers pay on your store, and the download goes straight to their email.
What does it cost to sell music on Stakk?
From 10% + $0.50 per sale, card processing included. There is no monthly fee and no setup fee, so you pay nothing until you make a sale.
You set your own price, in whole US dollars from $1 to $999. Every sale is a one-off payment, and buyers pay into your own Stripe account.
Is Stakk right for your music?
Yes, if you want fans to buy your music and keep the files.
Stakk does not stream music, and it has no fan memberships or monthly plans. Keep your songs on streaming apps to get heard, and use your store for the downloads.

Questions people ask
Can I sell stems to other producers?
Yes. Zip the stems for each song and sell them as their own product, or as the upsell.
Can I give a track away for free?
Yes. Make it a lead magnet, so fans get the track in return for their email.
Do fans need an account to buy?
No. They type a name and an email, pay by card, and the download link comes to their inbox.
