How does the fee work?
You pay nothing until you make a sale. Then the fee is from 10% + $0.50 per sale, card processing included.
The pricing page splits that fee in two:
- Stakk's part: 7.1% + $0.20.
- Stripe's card processing at its standard US rate: 2.9% + $0.30.
Together they make 10% + $0.50. You can see each line in your own Stripe account.
The fee is higher where Stripe's rate is higher, for example on international cards. If your Stripe account settles in a currency other than US dollars, Stripe adds about 2%, so a typical sale lands near 12%. See the currency fee.
An order bump rides the same charge, so it carries one fee. An upsell is its own charge with its own fee. There is no monthly fee and no setup fee.
A sale that comes from Discover has its own fee. See What is the Discover fee?
