Stakk vs Linktree
What each one takes from a sale, and which one fits you.
The short answer
Stakk has no monthly fee and charges from 10% + $0.50 per sale, card processing included. On Linktree, only Pro, at $17 a month, and Premium, at $35, can sell paid products. Both take 0% of each sale, with Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 on top, and the Free and Starter plans can share free products only.
So a $20 sale costs $2.50 on Stakk, or $0.88 in Stripe's fee on Linktree Pro plus the $17 plan. Linktree lists no order bump or upsell, and Stakk has both on every account. Linktree is the better pick if your page is mostly links, or if you sell enough each month for a flat plan to pay.

When is Linktree the better pick?
Pick Linktree if any of these is you.
- Your page is mostly links. Linktree is built around a page of links, with themes, link scheduling and analytics. Premium adds link rules and routing, social media scheduling and unlimited Instagram auto-replies. Stakk is a store for selling digital products.
- You sell a lot each month. Pro and Premium take 0% of each sale, so you pay the plan and Stripe's fee. The more you sell, the more a flat plan can work out cheaper than a fee on every sale.
- You price above $999 or sell courses or bookings. Linktree lets you price a product from $1 to $10,000, and on Pro you can sell courses, powered by Kajabi, and paid bookings. Stakk has no subscriptions, memberships, course player, booking calendar or file hosting. Every Stakk price is one-off, $1 to $999, and it pays out through Stripe only.
- You want Linktree to host your files. You can upload up to 1 GB of files for each product, and buyers can download them again later. Stakk sends a link to a file you keep elsewhere.
Who should pick Stakk over Linktree?
- You want to sell without a monthly plan. Linktree's Free and Starter plans can share free products only. To sell, you need Pro at $17 a month or Premium at $35. Stakk has no monthly fee and no setup fee, so a month with no sales costs you nothing.
- You want an order bump and an upsell. We found neither on Linktree. Stakk has both on every account. The order bump rides the same charge as the product, so it carries one fee. The upsell after paying is one click, with no card to type again, and it is its own charge with its own fee.
- You keep your files where they are. Paste a share link from Google Drive, Dropbox or Notion. The moment a buyer pays, Stakk emails them that link with a receipt.
