Stakk vs Stan Store
A monthly plan or a fee per sale, and where your money goes.
The short answer
Stakk has no monthly fee and charges from 10% + $0.50 per sale, card processing included. Stan Store takes 0% of each sale but has no free plan: after a 14 day free trial it costs $29 a month, or $99 for order bumps and upsells, plus Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 on a US card sale.
So Stakk costs less while your sales are small, and Stan costs less once you sell often. On Stakk the buyer pays into your own Stripe account, while Stan's card sales land in a Stripe account Stan manages until you cash out. Stan is the better pick if you want courses, bookings, a community or subscriptions.

When is Stan Store the better pick?
Pick Stan Store if any of these is you.
- You sell often. Stan takes 0% of each sale and charges a flat $29 a month. On a $20 product, Stan's $29 plan costs less than Stakk from about 19 sales a month, counting Stripe's fee and one cash out. We checked Stan's rates on 22 October 2026.
- You want courses, bookings or a community. Stan's $29 plan has a course builder, calendar booking, community features and lead magnets in one place.
- You sell subscriptions. Stan's $29 plan includes recurring subscriptions. Stakk has no subscriptions, memberships, course player, booking calendar or file hosting. Every Stakk price is one-off, $1 to $999.
- You want PayPal. Stan can also take PayPal, paid straight into your PayPal Business account. Stakk pays out through Stripe only.
- You want email in the same tool. Stan's $99 plan adds email broadcasts and email flows, along with discount codes and payment plans.
Who should pick Stakk over Stan Store?
- You want to pay nothing until you sell. Stakk has no monthly fee and no setup fee. Stan has no free plan, so after its 14 day trial it costs $29 a month, sale or no sale.
- You want card money in your own Stripe account. On Stakk the buyer pays into your own Stripe account, and Stakk never holds it. There is no balance to cash out and no payout fee from Stakk. Stripe pays you on its own schedule.
- You want a bump and an upsell without a $99 plan. Stan keeps both for Creator Pro at $99 a month. Stakk has both on every account. The order bump rides the same charge as the product, so it carries one fee. The upsell after paying is one click, with no card to type again, and it is its own charge with its own fee.
- You keep your files where they are. Paste a share link from Google Drive, Dropbox or Notion. The moment a buyer pays, Stakk emails them that link with a receipt.
